I bought the “unlock everything forever” version of this on Steam and just could not get into it. I play HoTS and thought the controls would be similar, but apparently they’re more akin to other MOBAs like LoL and DoTA, which threw me off.

I really like the “mature cartoon” art direction. Reminds me of stuff like Gargoyles.

But that’s the thing, Insomniac NAILED the controls for a character like Spider-Man in Sunset Overdrive. I have a feeling much of that game’s movement is being ported over to this game (a lot of the animations are the same, even from what we’ve seen), and thus will give us some Peter-starring segments we’ve never seen…

This will be the AC title that gets me to play the series again (I gave up 15 minutes into Revelations and haven’t touched one since). I simply can’t ignore playing in ancient Egypt.

Not at all, I remember everything quite clearly.

You’re conflating past performance with this year’s performance. THey’re separate entities. I agree, EA is usually awful, but Bethesda is also usually way better. And for me, Bethesda showed one interesting title and a bunch of stuff we knew was coming and loads of stuff we don’t want or need.

Then a sequel NEEDS to happen and be cross-platform.
