I wholeheartedly disagree. They were THE premiere arcade racing series for years and years. The moment they started trying to do stories, the quality tanked right off a cliff.

I have never, and will never, want to play a racing game for its story. All I want is good graphics, awesome customizable cars, and tight responsive controls.
