Exactly. I know a lot of people insist this a good show and it may well be (the clips with Jason Todd were a dead on perfect depiction of that character.), but that’s not Dick Grayson and that was never the tone of the Teen Titans. That you need Dick Grayson to be dark and damaged means you never understood his

I assumed at some point in the series we would get a Raven that isn’t a constant threat and can control her abilities/powers and something resembling a cohesive team fighting bad guys. And less of a road trip show to either find Raven and save her, or hide Raven and protect her. I thought the world building should

Ugggh. With how terrible WB has handled almost all of their DC properties in the last ten years, I wouldn’t be surprised in the slightest if this turned out to be real and not be a dream/alternative dimension.

This. God if there’s only one thing worse than Alan Moore in my opinion, it’s Grant Morrison.

The two references I enjoyed the most were: When the cops call for help they list their location as “the corner of Nolan and Burton”. Very nice, and Kara holding the Bard head that if opened, had the switch to the bat cave in it presumably.

The Last Jedi did nothing to undo classic mythology. It was the first film to even bring up Sidious by name and the failures of the Jedi seen in the prequels. If anything, The Last Jedi did more to bridge the current trilogy with the previous ones.

I have. It sucks.

There are a few decent, interesting ideas floating around in the book. They do get a little drowned by, as you say, references for references sake, but if Spielberg grabbed on to a couple of those ideas and brought them to the forefront of the film then it could be a more balanced narrative than the book.

My guess is that this is Spielberg’s last real attempt to do a “blockbuster.” He realizes the movie industry has changed dramatically in the last dozen years or so, and there’s no room left for the sort of popular movies he used to make in the ‘70s and ‘80s. After this, he’s gonna do smaller films like The Post, maybe

This is the book/movie that’s gonna turn me into An Old.

Also that video is horrible.

I cannot tell you how much I appreicate they didn’t go “sexy” or even “waify.”

Felicity went from being my favorite to being one of my most disliked.
There’s a lot I can swallow on a superhero tv show but the “We need to save Ollie and let the city burn”...”Hey, I jumped into the suit Ray can’t even control well and fly it perfectly” was just too much.

Felicity went from a fun, intelligent sexy

Most of the io9 people I see here seem to have been enjoying this season, and I am really happy they had a good time. For me the happy thing about this was it ended, and that too in such a close ended way that I have no qualms about leaving the show.

Gonna be fun when we find out that Alfred himself killed the Waynes. And probably destroyed Krypton, too.

We all need to take a minute to properly appreciate the awesomeness that was Carol's dialogue in this finale. Rarely has one character had so many great lines in a single episode:

Doesn't it bother anyone else that when Barry goes back in time, he's the only Barry there? What happened to the Barry that previously lived that day? Maybe they're saying that only Barry's consciousness traveled in time? But then why did Barry see himself running at the start of the day? That whole deal was

He stated he wasn't there to kill the mum, but Barry, but if Barry was there to change the timeline Wells would need to go back to stop him for whatever reason, which would then cause the original event to happen.

I loved t his episode! Even without the last 10 minutes, there were a lot of good Barry and Joe moments, and Cisco and Wells bonding. And Eddie showing up to back up his partner. I still wish the show had broken from comic book source with Iris and kept Barry with Linda, but it's very clear that won't happen. At
