I’m partial to a double boiler when doing this. Works very well.

Mangoes fulfill a similar function in shakes and freeze well. Give it a shot and report back.

Thanks for the link, I’ll try it out. Have rather moderate golfers elbow on one side.

Wrong. The most accurate dry measuring cups is a scale.

One example is the kitchen cabinets line sektion. The official internal training video used about 6 different pronunciations. Section, say-queer-en, sec-she-on, etc etc.

Friendly neighborhood ikea coworker here. These are correct, but if you come in to the store in the us and pronounce things “correctly” and tell us that’s how it’s supposed to be said I will judge you and correct you that it varies by dialect and region even in Sweden.

Moreover many stores have a “no displays” rule on the weekend, where no displays can be brought down to as-is.

BTW the “heads up-cabinet doors” reddit thread is over a year old, and was regarding a large discontinuation of the AKURUM kitchen cabinetry line that was discontinued 2/1/2015.

Also the as-is storage/build

Ikea Employee here.

This is not true for the stores that I’ve worked at. Anything large is generally placed on the As-is floor immediately unless it has to be built, think book cases or dressers.

Also don’t ask anyone OTHER than as-is if somethings “in the back.” There is no back, at least there shouldn’t be if

Okay, but what about when the slob is your SO, and they think they’re clean and you’re the messy one but really they’re in a constant state of denial?

I recently got a nexus 5x using the google FI discount (249 for 32gb). Very happy with it. The one slightly annoying thing is that the volume and power buttons are on the same side of the phone, so in order to take a screenshot I have to use both hands.

Google Fi is pretty cool too, my first month is only $21 since I

Pun intended?

Thanks Alan, going to use this next time I want to print out some labels.

The only thing I wish I had was a printing template so I can print multiple out without having to save and position them manually in a document.

I had my wallet stolen while on vacation visiting my dad for his birthday. so on the way back home I had no photo id at all. I had a pic of my drivers license on my phone, but they did not want to even look at it. Did not look at it once in the hour I was with them, did not ask for the operators number or anything. I

Yeah, but what’s the mash temp?

Translated into brewing terms:

I would recommend the 301WA or rt600C from thermoworks over the thermopop. Same lifetime warranty, better precision, faster response time.

The 301wa is also recalibrateable in the event that it goes slightly you can fix it. The rt600c has a similar “reset” feature.

Unfortunately there aren’t really any good single serve electric burr grinders. It’s either the $40-50 manual ones, of the ~$200 large ones.

Just an FYI it’s called thermal shock.

Neat, first I’ve heard of this one. I like it.

A bit late to the game, but I wanted to say that I saw this shit when I was shopping at my place of work (retail store with average shopping time of over an hour). Called LP had the owner of license plate xxxxx to call the operator, and asked them to go to their car immediately. Called the cops.
