Is he never going to give us up?

That said, though, confidence and taking care of yourself can be really attractive. I went through a black hole in dating where I barely even talked to girls for the better part of a year, but once I started dating a girl I really liked, and started taking care of myself, a lot of other girls started being interested

I have, but they’re not women I’d want to date no matter what the circumstances were.

I suppose if you spot a Toyota Tercel that’s still running, you should probably trust it.

This actually gives a name to something I hadn’t even carefully considered before: people who drive Hondas are generally okay drivers, people who drive Toyotas are generally morons.

Completely fair. I’m an Indians fan and I’ve hated that stupid thing for years.

I think the biggest problem (this is also a problem with Halo (especially the 343i entries) and LoL), is that developers are never among the best players of their game, so they have a hard time balancing it for the best players in the game. This makes the extremely good competitive players abandon it, which overall

JEEEM!

I think it’s almost the opposite. If you’re a casual fan and your team doesn’t have a good quarterback, you’re only going to be good by having a lot of defense-heavy games (fine with me, but probably bad for attracting casual fans). The rules evolved to favor good quarterbacks so much that there’s no point in watching

Interestingly, going between Baseball and Football games shows you just how astoundingly few commercials there are comparatively in Baseball games. Usually, they only happen if there’s a pitching change or between half innings, so baseball games take a while, but almost all of it is actual baseball, and not Budweiser

It’s at the point where I only watch games with 2 teams in them, and spend the rest of the time with the game on in the background, but not actually paying attention to it unless something cool happens. GTA and/or the Dark Tower series>Lions/Bears

I’ve been loosely following CFL for a while when I found out that the Saskatchewan Rough Riders (I used to live in SK) were really good. My dad likes WR’s being able to get a running start, because he has a lot of hot taeks about penalties on formations and pre-snap movement.

If they’re trying to monetize it in any way, they’re kind of forced to do all that crap. It’s hard to get enough viewers otherwise.

Flag collecting and other similar collectibles scattered on the map. I just don’t care anymore. It’s not worth doing scavenger hunts, especially with my current backlog. On a related note, I don’t really try to 100% things anymore. I used to try to do every quest, find every thing, etc., but now, I just do the

Well yeah, duh, as soon as I got my own place, I stopped paying for cable. It just wasn’t worth it to pay all that money to watch football and Adult Swim.

I’m going to play the city/state-funded stadium contrarian here (to which someone should feel free to cite endless studies in objection which I will never read)

For real, this is absolutely true. I joined the rugby team and got really deep into it, then separated my shoulder to the point I couldn’t play in the next few months and felt somewhat lost.

I’ve heard the French version of it isn’t nearly as corny as the English one. I only took one semester, plus a few weeks in 5th grade, so I don’t know if that’s the case.

I separated my shoulder playing rugby (I also played football and fucked my shoulder up wrestling) and it still hurts every time rain is in the offing. I’m not sure if it’ll be worth it, but some day I’ll be able to say “I’ve forgotten the face of my father” without joking at all.

I stopped following UFC a while ago, so I actually hadn’t been keeping an eye on him, so I watched a couple of his fights. Holy shit is he good.

What’s also funny about this is that quarterbacks are basically the only pro players Purdue ever produces.
