Final Fantasy XIII is a bit of an acquired taste, and the weird thing about it is that there’s genuinely a lot to dislike - the story is a bit of a mess, none of the characters are particularly well-written, and the dungeon design is bland.

The combat goes a long way towards making up for most of that, but the weird

It requires you to equip a bomb rune and weapon or bow, face generally south (no one knows why it only works when facing south)

I never had any major issues with FFXIII. I always rather enjoyed it, and it’s far from the worst in the series in my opinion.

FF XIII is my favorite final fantasy game and it made me get into JRPGs in general. Still hoping they do a full remaster of the trilogy

I don’t think you know what selective quoting (AKA Quoting Out of Context) means if you believe that’s what I did. The context of your first comment doesn’t change with the omission of four words “Which is fine, because”, they add nothing to your point. It can be read with or without those words and it means the same

You make playing games sound awful.

Your policy just forced a bunch of kids to pick up some IT skills.  THEY CAN’T LOSE!

Jake Bussey as Guile..

Yeah, r/leopardsatemyface has helped ease some of my anger knowing that people aren’t always getting away without consequences.

I agree.  It’s why I both love and hate anime.  There are quite a lot of legitimately great anime, but it’s this pointless sexualization that leaks into the mainstream.

She said that shit to another person. That’s not private.

Funny story, so a company I worked for did something like this (not civil rights related, just a thing that a state wanted to do) and we had the foresight to not have any of the problems that Epic had since we wanted to be respectful of the subject. In our clunky-ass engine we were able to disable costumes beyond a

Quick question. If I convince a large group of people to ingest cyanide claiming that it cures COVID and they all die should my freedom of speech protect me from any responsibility?  The law has upheld that speech that is both false and dangerous is not protected.  Which is the point the person you’re criticizing was

Speech which is dangerous and false is not protected.  Not that this is a free speech issue in the first place, given that the company at the heart of it is not a government entity.

See here’s the thing. What science is not is “absolute truth.” It’s impossible due to the limitations of humans. What Science is our current understanding of specific things. We have to understand that facts change the more we learn about things.

What keeps this from being “nothing matters because nothing is true” is

The ‘no rooms over rooms’ thing hasn’t been true for many years. It’s a stock feature in modern ZDoom.

That’s cool, and was possible because id released the source code to their older engines when they moved on to the next one. It’s a shame the tradition hasn’t continued under Zenimax and now MS.

Chinese parents might get better results from a subscription to Hip Punishments.

I’ll take your Selaco and raise you SIXTY TWO (mostly free, some commercial) standalone games made with the Doom engine. If you know any that I missed, let me know.

Everyone knows MLK was more of an Apex Legends man.
