But… but… that’s a man’s own deeply personal decision. Like, er, abortion.

I have to have a grudging respect for someone so wholly divorced from reality that they can watch the games industry for the last decade and come away thinking that progressive views are the ones that are being “ended”. It must take a lot of work to be that deluded.

Not a true gamer

Top quality journalism. I love articles like this.

I hate how loud they are

Except that the doujin (indie publishing) scene is absolutely huge in Japan, and the content created is often really extreme pornography. I don’t know how to square away Nintendo’s ongoing war against harmless fan content in the West with the hardcore child porn comics they ignore at comiket.

The main argument in favour of the consoles is simplicity. I do IT stuff for a living, and even for me, PC gaming is a ballache sometimes.

Oddly enough, in the benchmarks I’ve seen so far, it seems to be PS5 coming out on top at least half the time. I’d assumed it’d be the other way around, but I guess the faster SSD and slightly higher boost clock count for something.

Anti-abortion laws affect men too. Men have a right to have an opinion on this. It’s just a shame that so many of us seem to think that we should have control over someone else’s body.

Going off the rails on the gravy train.

How the fuck is making game guides for three-decade-old games “pulling one over on Nintendo”? If they wanted to make money off of official guides, they should’ve done so back then. Also, they did, and they’re out of print. How does this in any way harm Nintendo?

Is Nintendo being an asshole here? Absolutely not.

It’s hard to imagine anyone disagreeing with what you just said, but if the last few comments sections are any indication, someone will. Some people think that the rights of giant multinational corporations are more important than the rights of consumers, despite (presumably) being consumers themselves. Kind of funny,

Beat Takeshi is one of the few people in this world I could see taking this in their stride.

Oh, the axe is pretty good for one thing: humiliation. If you manage to get the final kill with it in a multiplayer game, that player is going to hear about it. For days.

Top stuff as usual, Alexandra.

If you didn’t play deathmatch then you missed most of the fun.

I meant the FPGA board itself, not the target platforms. Sorry for the confusion.

I feel like if they wanted to put a disc in there it’d be there, I can’t imagine there’s any kind of shortage on Blu-ray discs these days.
