Any word on who makes the analogue stick potentiometer units? If this is another pad that just uses the default Alps one then I’ve no interest in it. Three times I’ve been burned on premium priced pads that have that garbage in them, turns out they’re only projected to last a few hundred hours or so. It’s an absolute

He strikes me as the kind of man who will spend the rest of his life on social media claiming that he’s being silenced on social media, and neither he nor his audience will see the absurdity in it.

I am really, really done with Pro-Israel spectrum thinking that anything Pro-Palestine is anti semitic.

I played a few old Game & Watch games recently, it’s remarkable how Nintendo managed to wrangle solid fun and a satisfying challenge out of such limited hardware. Sadly other LCD games of the era haven’t aged anything like as well (looking at you, Tiger)...

So do we call one of these a Pokimono?

What the hell is wrong with them?

No worries, just a minor thing. Looking good now.

I’ll be interested to see how Spelunky 2 performs on the Switch. The game doesn’t look like much if you’re just looking at screenshots but I’ve heard of it bringing some pretty decent PCs to their knees when a bunch of complex physics stuff starts interacting, and base consoles struggled at times (my PS4 Pro did too,

First up, sorry to hear you’ve had a shit few weeks, been having a few myself recently.

That’s what kept us all playing for years rather than the fairly incoherent, over-and-done single-player.

I’m playing it on the Saturn. It’s a marvel.

You need to sort your life out Mario mate, this just keeps on happening

I know what you mean. I had mixed feelings about the protagonist in the first, but I kind of pushed past it because the art was just so stunningly good. I also appreciate that the game was made by one person, so it’s 100% his vision that’s driving it. That resulted in a bit of a weird character and some slightly iffy

It’s been a long time coming - even relatively obscure titles like Doom 64 were getting some love but Quake languished. Really happy to see this.

Quake in name only, really. It used Lobotomy’s engine, which was an incredible achievement for the Saturn, but it doesn’t feel like Quake to me.

Just about everything, especially art style, was better with Oblivion.

It was better than Oblivion. The art direction in that game was pretty godawful.

I was thinking more like 81. Bobby Fischer died at 64, after all.

It’s lazy, ego-driven behavior rife with hella-convenient beliefs that tell them they don’t have to learn anything; they are already right, and you are wrong and scum.

Not arguing with any of that. Perhaps you read my response as saying they shouldn’t be punished, which wasn’t my intention.
