Not really. I think that, colloquially at least, any aspect of a game where you’re paying for a significantly easier time is P2W. Cosmetics don’t do this, which is why people don’t tend to mind them - but being able to warp between locations without visiting a save point is clearly not cosmetic.

Thank you! Nintendo frequently get a pass for behaviour that would be widely excoriated if it was literally anyone else. It’s baffling, frankly. I love their games but that doesn’t insulate them from criticism.

For me the big one is that here in the UK they’ve finally started charging VAT during payment for the item if it’s from overseas. I don’t have a problem with taxes and recognise that I’ve basically been dodging them for a couple of decades on ebay, but man that extra 20% still stings.

50 Cent: Blood on the Sand - which I brought up as a joke in another post - seems to be shooting up, lots of $50 listings on eBay while it was $20 just last year.

I remember playing the game and feeling that it was just being hampered by the Wii hardware, that there was a decent if unexceptional platformer inside that would’ve benefited from tighter controls and better performance.
