I’m just basing this off of my own experiences in Canadian French immersion. My fellow classmates have learned the language for about 8 years, perhaps even more. Now, some of them have forgotten all but the most basic elements of it. Meanwhile, kids who were in the regular curriculum practically know nothing.

You can’t force a bunch of kids to learn a language they don’t want.

I always thought of it as pugly: not at all attractive, yet strangely endearing.

You elected a reality TV star and now you’ve got the greatest reality TV series on the planet.

Like some sort of anal ouroboros.
