Spoken like someone who has never driven a 996 Turbo!

And I do not mean the “my son plays lacrosse” upper class. I mean the “I could kill a poor person and get away with it” upper class.

My complaints with the 2015 USGP, from a fan who’s been to at least ten events at COTA. Some of these are probably totally irrational, but I have this contentious feeling about the weekend, and writing down these ‘wrongs’ helps me sort out which are legitimate and which aren’t.

As I posted in another comment section, I wont be returning to the USGP. From a fan experience it totally sucks compared to NASCAR. The tickets are priced insanely high and the service, even for the VIPs, is ridiculously bad. We can blame F1 and the stupid fans but in reality its COTA that is to blame here.

I don’t have any problem with what Rossi did. Not one little teeny tiny bit.

If anything, I’d say Boeing built it well — this plane (N251MY) has knocked around all over the world under 11 different registrations for almost 30 years and, I’m sure, gadzooks hours, without a previous incident remarkable enough to make its way into the sort of quick Web search that turned up its registration

Medic: *Takes bite of bread* “No, it’s rye but good guess. He’s all good, guys!”

I’m not sure what you’re talking about. We don’t steer airplanes with engines. We have flight control surfaces for that.

I dunno, it looks as if Marquez touched Rossi first.

Am I cheating?

Granted I’m not an AF pilot, but just a scrub with hours in a tail-wheel, but I just have no idea how you can judge the current conditions with such a vague video. Unless you’re so good you can see and feel wind through a video?

Thanks, Alcantara! Sounds good! Start off easily with my little plane. Probably going to max out with a KingAir.

I’ve seen quite a lot of posts criticising this approach but it looks perfectly ok to me. We have no idea what airport it is at or what the weather was at the time this video was taken. To me it looks like the wind was fairly close to straight down the runway and, if it was gusting, would quite happily explain the

I’d rather pilot this 190E

Once you get a ‘feel’ for a particular plane, you can feel the moves it is making and respond with the right control input. That is one of the reasons I find PC flying sims so tough. There is no 'feel' to those things.

To all of you saying passing on the DY is automatically Bad - stop. Just stop.

a) You probably don’t ride. Believe me, there are plenty of places that are unsafe for a car to pass where it’s no problem for a bike (either due to the bike being able to do the pass or simply because of things like better sightlines due to

Here we see a crash* of maldonados in their natural habitat.

Stop using my headrest as a handrail. I will quietly hate you if you recline into me, but if you’re behind me, don’t randomly grab my seat and shake it. I will cut you, old lady.
