I was really hoping this link was going to be in the Recommended Stories section. Fuck Coachella, kids. You’re being lied to. Again.

Anyone who calls Amadeus historically inaccurate is completely missing the point. Salieri is the one telling the story, of course he’s going to paint himself as well as possible! They also tend to severely overstate how much the film plays Mozart as an ass who just happened to have natural talent, as it’s clearly

love love love “amadeus.” great play, too.

For one, writer is clearly a biased Cardi B fan. Secondly, lets not act like this isn’t a case of the media pitting two women of color in the rap game against each other. There is one hell of a double standard for women in the game.......gonna quote a columnist named Craig Jenkins for a minute:

And the sequels are literally unwatchable. I do use “get in my belly” and “mini-me” though, so they had some kind of cultural cache.

I mean, it’s a term that comedians themselves use, as a way of describing what they themselves try to avoid. In a lot of cases it’s a self-critique, and acknowledgement that making an actual funny joke is hard while simply “making a good point” is easy and very tempting. (It can also sometimes be a way of describing

If ever there was a film that I wish didn’t have a sequel, it’s this one. Just hysterical from front to back.

Agreed. I was going more by the hashtag movement that Amy referenced in the article, but it’s unclear upon rereading.

To be fair, they tell everyone how to dress - I saw dudes in shorts getting turned around at temple entrances and having to go rent pants or buy those elephant pants on a few occasions.

“Today I put my hand on a Bible. I wasn’t under oath when I wrote that book”. Queen.

are you okay

I’m old enough to remember when Rumours was a hit album (and I’m a huge fan of The Clash) but I’m am barely aware of Crowded House and I have no idea of who Mike Campbell and Neil Finn are. I suspect there are very few people out there who recognize these names. (I was never a big fan of Tom Petty, though.)

I enjoy Fleetwood Mac from its late 60s incarnation through (some of) Tango in the Night. And this news has blown up my FB feed with passionate defenders and detractors. But I feel nothing about it emotionally because the cost of going to see FM live is out of my budget and perhaps they still perform well but it just

Christine McVie all day, every day. Lindsey and Stevie are great, but all of my favorite Mac songs are with Cristine McVie.

In my Private Universe, Neil gets Crowded House back together rather than work as a hired gun. CH reunited once, of course, so … Twice If You’re Lucky, right? Still, it’ll Never Be The Same, but I guess I’ll keep telling myself Little Lies.

Was at a concert event over the summer where Mac was the closer. No Stevie Nicks in that show so I walked out.

the current rumor is letting Aquaman and maybe WW2 play out, and Flash will do some ‘flashpoint’-like event that will scramble the universe and give them the ability to soft-reboot but keep WW and Aquaman around, since fans actually seem to like those actors.

Yeah. I was completely uninterested in this tour...but, damn, now I almost want to go. Both of those guys are amazing talents.

Loosing any member is a dealbreaker. Fleetwood Mac is a rare band where every member is important. Even the McVies, who casual fans don’t think much about, are important. While Buckingham and Nicks are the most famous Christine sings lead on a little less than half the songs (“Little Lies” is her, for example).

All pea coats are double breasted. It’s a defining feature!
