I watched it fully for the first time over two weeks, falling asleep both times, god is the film boring. Still, I’ll likely watch the second one just to see if its better (can’t be too hard). I feel like this film is rated highly simply because its concepts were ahead of time, but as a film, it was hideous.

Jeesh, even our own are hard to keep track of. Between the Roman, Greek, Nord, Celtic, Pict, the Arab, Egyptian, Syrian (and other M.East) influences & all the multiple Eastern European ones I think we may have something like 50 pantheons and associated folklore lurking about.

I don’t think us Europeans need much introduction to other cultures (though perhaps we would need a lot more tolerance), please don’t lump us in with the Americans.

It’s definitely not overlapping at the moment - the manga Arc is now just after the Chuunin exam, the anime started with Boruto’s joining Ninja academy (so quite a while before).
