I just got an idea for RE:7 ‘Residential Evil’ where you have to fight off a horde of landlords, estate agents and property developers whilst trying to keep the flat warm, fix the broken fridge and avoid being eaten alive by rodents.

Real strategy requires making adaptative and reflexive decisions based on evolving circumstances, not pondering for 20 minutes whilst your enemy gracefully sits there waiting for you.

Exactly, the combat was crap. Turn based was a relic of its time given machine limitations vs. Scope and Scale. It's unnecessary now and can be ditched.

Has anyone figured out what the point of the avatar customisation part was for? Was it a joke on the whole avatar customisation process in games?

Playing 2 & 3 back to back is ideal as they really integrate and start meshing well with 1 story wise.

I think its because you can level multiple jobs - so they offer multiple ‘lower level’ quests for when you start out a new job on the same character. Either that, or I’m doing something wrong...
