There’s no meaningful physical differences between Afghans and Iranians, for one, both are nationalities, not ethnic groups. Secondly, Rumi was an ethnic Persian from Northern Afghanistan, today those people are known as Tajiks, and make up around 30-35% of the Afghan population.
