I don’t think there’s a city anywhere in America with more obnoxious, snobbish and self-centered people than SF. And I was in NYC a few weeks ago.

To the end of my days, I’ll never understand how anyone living in beautiful California can be as annoyingly angry at everything as the loudest, whiniest denizens of San Francisco. Must be such a cross to bear.
Hey, remember back when we could count on coming to Gizmodo to learn about and shoot the sh*t about new and cool technology... rather than being bombarded by the liberal Gawker agenda?
Why do the editors/moderators bother cross-posting Alissa Walker’s nonsensical anti-car diatribes to Jalopnik? She’s overtly biased. I don’t read her posts anymore because it’s an aggravating waste of time, electricity, and data. Only came here to post my frustration with the fact this trash takes up space on the…
You do understand that the reverse of that argument works in many places in the United States, right? Why should vehicle owners and people who choose to drive suffer because some people don’t like cars or driving? We need people to drive more so that our cities are car-centric.
The jackasses that buy into the no car bullshit would tell you that you need to move closer to your job and that all cities should become localized and that housing should be built alongside industry and industry alongside housing.
It’s all very retarded.
This is why Millenials need to get a grip
Nor do I want to. I spent most of the first 30 years of my life on public transportation due to a traumatic driver training experience. Then when my Dad got sick and needed constant help I learned to drive his car. I will never go back.
I just have to say that I disagree. I’m not claiming that things can’t be improved with how we do things but can I please get some more freeways and wider roads instead of useless streetcars and infrastructure programs most people can’t use? I would love to live in the intercity and walk everywhere but I live in the…
Ignorant utopians who have no grip on the realities of the situation. The hashtag should tell you everything.
This argument against roads and parking is so incredibly flawed, backwards, and wrong that I’m going to completely ignore it and keep on driving while whistling zippeedodaday.
Okay, somebody at Jalopnik needs to say something so Alissa Walker’s militant anti-car bullshit can stop getting cross-posted there.
I can only assume this post is meant to only apply to urban areas, despite statistics being used that apply to the US at large.. There is no reasonable “alternative” way for me to get around where I live, unless I want to run a marathon twice a day. And if not an interstate, it would significantly add to pollution, as…
I don’t think the V6's are that bad. No they’re not a screaming V10, but some of the noises they make are pretty wild. The Honda engine, as bad as it was, made some pretty neat burps and sputters before it exploded half way through the race.
“And if you don’t live in a city—or don’t want to—banning cars benefits you, too.”
