There's a column on this very site tomorrow that's highly likely to give a more accurate answer to that question than I ever could.

And a genre of porn.

I'm hoping things turn out for the best, but "extensive reshoots" aren't words that fill me with confidence, regardless of the people involved.

I've seen you do worse, Internet

Edwards certainly knows how to do scale, but is there a story here? Everything so far seems very basic, and the crutch of bringing in Dart Vader seems like a bad sign of someone being worried that this movie can't sell itself on it's own merits. Which is a bit of a weird thing to say considering it's a spinoff from

I find it very hard to love Exciter as well. While I like the idea of an intricately produced minimalistic album with an experimental edge, the songs are just too weak to support it IMO.

Not so much saying as gently referring to the possibility thereof…

I'm getting decent vibes from this, although that new band logo looks terrible. They really need to stop paying Anton Corbijn money to make a few strokes with a wide brush pencil. Also, their album pattern post '93 of "one good, one bad" suggests that this one won't be up to snuff. So bad vibes, I guess. I'm so

Why do you think Jennifer Aniston suddenly has to be in movies again? Naming rights ain't cheap.

Stuff like this makes it all the more sad that Episode 7 was such a retread of A New Hope. There are obviously people out there with great ideas on how to tackle Star Wars in a new way, but they're never going to be let anywhere near the films.

Batman Jones is pretty awesome as well.

EDIT: …you know what, I'm taking that comment back. Unnecessarily snarky. Have a good Friday everyone!

This might very well be my favorite movie. Paced perfectly, looks fantastic, tonally spot on, infinitely re-watchable, and almost indescribably fun. The only thing missing is probably something deeper to engage with beyond the basic plot, although the themes of motherhood come pretty damn close.

The Gibson treatment is pretty great, although I'm not sure how good the finale with massive amounts of Aliens and Queens (plural!) crawling around on the outside of a space ship would have looked on screen circa 1993. I didn't know Koepp (who's sensibilities I wouldn't have associated with this franchise) had written

Sometimes I wish that Bioware had just kept polishing their Infinity engine RPG:s instead of taking the step into full third person view. I've certainly enjoyed their games post Knights of the Old Republic, but I also have a hard time shaking the feeling that they're slowly but surely slipping into full

SPOILERS for Telltale's Batman:
I never thought about the masked mastermind being anything other than an awkwardly introduced Scarecrow, but your Harvey Dent theory (or the idea of there being a story pertinent mystery to him at all) is compelling. I still highly enjoy Telltale's take on the Batman mythos' tone and

I found Until Dawn too goofy to be truly scary, and the jump scares wear off in effectiveness as the game goes on. If you haven't tried it yet I don't think you've got too much to worry about.

I made my comeback at the local boxing club after two wheels of illness, only to overstrain my right calf and likely be out of comission for at least another week. Annoyance ensued.

I think there are different kinds of dissatisfaction to be considered here. If you're really aching for some good ol' penetrative sex, get into a situation where that looks highly likely to happen, and then for whatever reason get denied, it could be seen as pretty reasonable to feel disappointed and/or frustrated.

I love how The Hunt doesn't have life-or-death stakes, yet manages to be an extremely intense nail biter that will keep anyone on the edge of their seat throughout it's runtime.
