Is this a good place to tell my story about having jury duty the day after I'd been to a pot luck picnic, and realizing as I headed out the door that I still had an extra kitchen knife in a makeshift tape-and-cardboard sheath sitting in the bottom of my purse? Thank god I remembered - I'm a "nice" white lady but I

I wonder if it's not also (or primarily) that she was so casual/familiar with him - walking right in and interrupting him, using his first name, etc. And the optics of hosting three young female employees - two of whom were under the influence - at his home for dinner are… less than great. Even given that nothing

I haven't seen the previews but checked it out because so many critics were raving about it. I'm so glad I did! It's smart and funny and while the writing could be better in some cases, it's not lazy and it's clear that everyone involved is dedicated to the show and wants their work to *mean* something. It doesn't shy

iTunes for me but it sounds like the problem is widespread…

As someone who came of age along with "Felicity," the fact that Scott Foley is playing the slave owner on "Due North" makes me feel extremely seen by this show. Bless you, "Insecure"!

*both sigh and sip tea in unison*

I left the closed captioning on and was thrown into an existential crisis when it referred to Gracie as "Chrissy." It was like the floor dropped out from under me. Had to go to imdb to set my mind at ease. (But now I'm imagining a whole other secret network of clones named after classic sitcom characters. GREENLIGHT

Also truly excellent opening titles. I watched an entire season just because I wanted to hear the theme song and was too lazy to turn it off afterwards.

Brought me right back to my elementary school years, with the preset Bossa Nova beat on the ol' CasioTone.

Leekie! Gracie! Mark! Younger Rachel with some turn-of-the-millennium Serious Businesswoman Hair! LIVER DEEP! Self-administered ocular surgery! This episode was everything I've ever wanted.

Scott was the secret comedy weapon of this episode. Between "the normest," "I dropped out of a doctorate," "You get used to it," and his perfectly-timed inflation of a latex glove in the background as Art said "you're in good hands," I was DYING.

The Papal Dialectic: pope, antipope, synpope.

Would definitely read this fanfic.

This was a real missed "second screen" opportunity. Don't forget, Orphan Black: #millennials crave this kind of #content!

The high-shine lip gloss definitely adds to the effect, but Maslany definitely holds her mouth differently as Krystal. It's basically perma-duckface.

In case anyone hasn't seen this already: a paean to Tatiana Maslany, courtesy of Matt Zoller Seitz over at Vulture. http://www.vulture.com/2017…

I just mixed up Michelle Forbes and Michelle Fairley, and consequently started workshopping a Lady Stoneheart joke in my mind. Oh well…

That theory is preposterous and delightful in equal measure!

Michelle Forbes needs to be in more things. Like, all the things.

Cosima in a tux = the biggest heart eyes emoji in the world. [swoon]
