Inherent Vice was a movie about that era but didn't really feel like a movie from then necessarily.

"Remember when I said I'd kill you last? I LIED!"
And yet every other bit of story telling in the film makes use of zombie film tropes and has direct lifts from Romero films.
Unfortunately, Cash turning the "crown of shit" to a "crown of thorns" left the door open for a number of additional covers from shitty bands that somehow managed to nearly turn it into a Christian rock song.
Less a threat and more writing off the disabled as useless.
When I was a kid I always wished they'd switch names. It was baffling to me that Daredevile was the one who used echolocation.
"I didn't read anything except the first few chapters of this book and I don't think the plot goes anywhere."
And yet Hannibal can make artisan woman fillets on Friday nights.
Actually its implied that Britta's childhood experiences were actually awful and its only in old age that her parents are so chill.
He focuses on mostly shorter arcs rather than year and half long slogs like Rotworld. He introduced a really interesting supporting cast for Swamp Thing.
Rot World lost steam and Animal Man never recovered only to be cancelled. Swamp Thing though became awesome after Charles Soule came on. I recommend picking it up in trades.
My main problem with Hurt being in the film is that I have always thought that Mortensen and Ed Harris should play brothers, and here we have a film with both of them and an plot that ends up being about brothers but they don't play brothers.
Definitely jump on with Soule's run starting at 19 or which ever corresponding trade. He has a focus on shorter, but effective arcs. He's very skilled at building on elements of the character that came before but recontextualizing them in interesting ways, much as Moore did.
he was basically David Koechner in Cheap Thrills in this episode.
They go back and forth on the pronouns on the show.
Did he just recreate the exact same video then because it definitely predates the episode.
Its not a matter of "respecting the body" more of shoddy characterization and story telling.
True. "There are some things I wish I could forget."
"Next time on Hannibal…" http://24.media.tumblr.com/…
The murder tableau is certainly too far. And having a realization of "oh shit, I was tricked into eating human meat!" is quite different from bringing your own man-steak over to your friend's house.
