Jeff has obviously never used snow tires otherwise he’d know that is the answer to his concern.  I’ve pushed snow with the Supra wrapped in stock size Blizzacks.  People never really understand how much a real snow tire can help until they make the jump.  Install in November and remove in April.

One thing I don’t see anyone talking about is that hoppy doesn’t (shouldn’t?) always mean bitter. Some of the hoppiest beers out there, are also some of the least bitter. I think many of you would greatly enjoy a hoppy IPA as long as it wasn’t bitter. Some of the NE IPA beers don’t get this correct.

I have done the Alton Brown method of making a roux and it worked extraordinarily well. I wanted a deep dark roux and extended Alton’s suggestions to 90 minutes. Granted, one sacrifices time in using his method.
