The fact that they let Yung keep her accent and use it as an affection of Elektra's was probably one of the best decisions ever.

We've seen some of it. She won't let things go. Whatever happened to her before (my money is on spiraling down after her brother's death) has made her unable to let go of things easily. Her vigilantism is more covert - she waits until she notices something wrong, and will rip it to shreds.

jazz hands?

I've never liked Paula. I may empathize with her and the fact that she really wants to be friends with Rebecca, but I thought the pilot made the case of her being… well, shitty.

It followed the structure of the first episodes.

Ravi said "I bought it yesterday". That was the key clue - the milk wasn't bad, Major was losing his taste buds.

Not just that, but he started with the probable numbers he'd use - college number, pee wee number, birthday date, relationship anniversary… Sure, it was a long and slow process, but he clearly had a defined algorithm that allowed him to get the number.

He has to in order to close Drake's storyline

Heroes ENDED after the first season.

well, probably after A&R.

Well, the entry made me wander inside Beck's wikipedia page and apparently back in the day Loser was considered the spiritual continuation of Creep, so you were right in the money!

Wait, Radiohead has a Loser, too? Beck's is so iconic I actually don't know other songs with that specific name.

I want Monica Bellucci to play Death, SO MUCH.

I trust the writers of JJ, but it is true that hers was more like a self contained arc - just the birth of the hero, whatever hero it is that she's become.

I don't know if it's realistic or not, but it feels grounded to me at least. She is dealing with robbers, drug dealers, criminals involved in turf wars. They probably don't even have insurance. So it makes sense that she's somewhat covering the hospital's ass by making sure the patient understands how he came in and

No mention of the best character interaction ever?

Oh, I certainly hope so! (And I love Jetra). I just want them to take their time doing so.

Yeah, agreed. They may seem to match in the short term, but they are not good for each other. #TeamRebeccaneedstohealbeforelookingforaboyfriend

Thing is, there was no other way for that scene to go. As much as the Chan's loved her, at the moment the relationship was toxic for Becks. All in all, Paula did give Rebecca a good way to break off them and leave Valencia in a good standing (which is what she wanted in the first place).
