Why? It's a very good depiction of upper class Mexico City, which is not too different from Upper East Side NYC…
While that didn't make me groan, I do have one complaint. Sun has had years of training, flexibility, strength, etc - it goes beyond knowing how to move. How the hell was Capheus' body to move like hers, when he wasn't even warmed up?
I thought it was the Icelandic lullaby?
It takes a while for his story to pick up. At first it feels kinda tropey
To me it kills me worse because Miguel Angel Silvestre is not Mexican (he's Spaniard) and I can tell the difference in his accent, even if Alfonso Herrera (Hernando) tries to make it similar so it doesn't look so discrepant.
It's pacing - the whole thing that happens this season would've been resolved in two episodes in most shows. As a matter of fact, the Big Bad of the season shows up less than ten minutes total, and it basically makes its first move. I argue that another character is the villain of the season, but it's because of the…
The whole of A.V. Club will rip your eyes out if you don't give Jane a shot.
When she said she was drinking it cold I was like don't you dare…
I think the argument will be that Lancel wanted Cersei to come on her own. That's why they had that conversation in the premiere - he's playing the preacher to her.
But why hasn't Lancel accused her yet? That's what I'm arguing - that Olenna will tip the High Sparrow, and that's when it'll snowball. And just like Cersei was not "involved", Olenna won't be, but Lancel will be the prime witness.
Regarding the Theon reclaim, I believe (or hope) we'll see a similar scene to the one in the books between him and Barbrey Dustin happen between him and Sansa. That she'll remind him of what he truly wanted - be a Stark - and how he has to be who he truly is - Theon.
Yup - that's why I brought it up in this review and not the newbies one =P
And the other question - was it completely stopped, or is it just dormant, and something will trigger it again?
I don't know in current funeral arrangements, but in Acient Egypt they used to remove organs via tubes similar to straws, including the brain.
I still think S1 of Veronica Mars is perfection. Only a couple of missteps, but one of the greatest seasons of ANY TV show I've seen.
Not just that, but the Mention of Sin Rostro makes it look like she'll be coming back as well. A full chiasm.
British guys trying to do an american accent?
The only reason I didn't mind Liv knowing kung fu (even though it has so many awful stereotype problems) is because Rose McIver was a Power Ranger, and honestly, I was expecting it at some point.
I don't know why but I get the feeling Andie is Rose's minion, trying to get back into the Marbella business from a completely different point - Jane.
