I wish the comment section worked so I could see and reply to grey commenters.

As a U.S. citizen living in Canada (hold on a second though, I actually took & passed my Canadian citizenship test TODAY), I have to say that my biggest issue with the Canadian electoral system is that you cannot directly for the person to be Prime Minister. I suppose this goes back to the very specific place & time

I report a lot of people on Twitter, mostly for making threats, but if that does anything, I never hear of it.

The dudes in the Dudes of Jezebel era were the worst.

The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing a bunch of feminists that the men were our die-hard supporters.

Please just fix Kinja already. I can’t see 1/2 to 2/3 of my replies, and maybe it’s the Canadian in me, but I’m starting to feel like an asshole. What is the point of even having a comment section if it’s set up so that you can’t see people’s comments?

So what are people up to tonight? I just got back from voting (Canada is having a very very stupid federal election and the advance polls run from yesterday to Monday). There were reports of long lineups in the advance polls but I got in with only a couple of university students ahead of me—they had to get their voter

So the phone which would automatically log me into Kinja died the other day & now I’ve had to create a whole new account. I’ve only been on Jezebel very intermittently over the past year, but I’ll be looking to follow those of you who have brightened my evenings in the past. Tons of ongoing drama for me, but I still

In earlier seasons, we’d see them at the gym, yoga and dance classes but that faded away. Carrie always seemed the laziest in classes, but SJP had rock-hard abs, so that never made sense. Charlotte got into jogging in later seasons.

Miranda looks like she's going hunting, and Samantha looks like she's going to book club in the suburbs.

Also I know this is a dying website that utilizes a dying comment platform but for fuck’s sake I can’t even read, let alone respond to, the grayed commenters who’re either agreeing with me or calling me an idiot or a tankie or whatever (probably the latter) — I’m not sure which, because I can’t read their comments!

Some random thoughts:

So they’re not going to abolish the filibuster and they’re not going to pack the Supreme Court with justices who actually give a fuck about people.

Is there a non-traditional student group on campus?

I’m so glad to give you this compliment. I’m in my late 40s and still trying to learn how to undo my patterns. They’re so...comfortable...and familiar...and easy.

Eye on the prize!

Well this internet stranger thinks you’re awesome.

I moved like 10 months ago and I still don’t know anyone in my new town. I’m working on friending a coworker but she’s one of those busy extroverts with a million friends and I am the opposite so it hasn’t been easy to sync up outside of (virtual) work.    I hope you can find a community among other grad students you

I’m sorry to hear that your move isn’t great. I hope it gets better for you soon.

The gym was part of my social life too. Those people you see and talk to everyday, right? I miss 8t terribly.
