Typical woman… she stops basing all of her life around mooning over men for one second, gets a whiff of power and suddenly goes nuts and wants to start killing people.
Oliver always gave the 1%ers a chance of redemption… everyone else got deaded.
Is Caitlyn still mooning after some guy full-time?
The hedge fund version of Anonymous?
And still stealing presents…
I think they will. They clearly know the cliche since they had Edgar highlight it last season in thinking that his relationship was done because of the house situation and his relief that 'we just had a fight'.
I dislike Lindsay at the best of times, but even that was a new low for her. She showed that she didn't give a crap about his feelings, she just disliked the idea of someone being angry at her.
Sanders would have had a much better shot at the WH, that's for sure. The two states that lost Clinton the election both opted for him in the primaries. That moment with CW was pretty devastating. Her character loves Edgar, so she obviously wants to be happy for him, but to have him so effortlessly slide into the same career she's been striving for for over a decade, that's the kind of pain which makes it hard to suppress resentment.
I too thought that they were going to go the cliche route and have it collapse just as he finished it… so the trapped/existential twist was pretty impressive.
i don't think there are many people who'd agree with Lindsay's decision to abort the baby without even discussing it with her husband. She really is the worst.
