I did wonder if he panicked when he saw that Gretchen was slowly but surely putting herself together. From the outside, she looked like any normal person going about her routine. Maybe Jimmy doesn't want normal.

Sudden deaths can work really well, but only if that isn't the only trick a show has up its sleeves.

Considering how little of a threat that this show's zombies pose once the first infection has passed, it's getting ridiculous how civilisation is still in free-fall in this show.
