i thought it was priced the same as the base corvette at the time. so yeah it was a bargin then!

shame too. i think this was the only car that was bringing people to mitsubishi dealers in hopes they left with something else

the v6 it had at the time was a pretty good engine for the time. it was their higher end engine offering. it just was just not for the price class they had it in. you got awesome styling for the price of a corvette but the power of 300m or intrepid

had they put the right powertrain in this car, it would have been legendary. they still look awesome in person. if you look past the powertrain, you got to give chysler credit for putting this on the market. nobody has been this daring in years with suspension design on a production car from a volume brand

should have been made without the hybrid system, that was their mistake. would have been lighter and more enthusiast oriented

i remember commercials when the appearance package came out. it was a old man yelling at a parked celica for going too fast. i thought it was hysterical

unlike a mustang, people actually get out of the way when they see police lights, speed doesnt matter when nobody gets out of your way lol

i remember when i was a vehicle transporter for a detailing service for dealer trade ins. i would put a transporter plate on an evo and get excited and be let down. the three i drove were ratty from being beaten on. one had all sorts of audio wires dangling in the trunk and under the dash from the sound system being

its a shame they screwed up so bad. diesels were making an amazing come back. i am just amazed that it actually made it to production despite all the people that are involved in putting a vehicle into the market.

agreed my parents 96 grand voyager was way more roomy than the 2005ish explorer 3 row they had. with 3 or more kids, the vans third row is way better. plus we were able to put 4x8 sheets of plywood in the back of the van to finish the basement, and move all three of us into and out of college. that van got a beating

My oddest was when i bought my 1989 Geo Tracker to get around my 90 acres i use for hunting. after exchanging the cash and title, i went to take off his licence plates. i put one on top of the other and noticed the numbers did not line up, and they were not the same number. Found out the owner was in the country

great place to wait for an electric car owner to come and steal from.

suzuki samurai? would be a great go anywhere car for the end of days

dukes of hazzard did it better

why stick shift push/roll start will be important #savethemanuals

you will never escape the savages that have taken over the wasteland in that!

my brother is pretty upset about all of this. he bought the Jetta TDI because of fuel economy and for re-sale value. he is pretty upset that both of those reasons are now thrown out the door. he went to get his car inspected and 3 shops refused to inspect it. Meaning he cant even sell it now since nobody can get it

shame lincoln did not put this in production. would have maybe sold 2 more mark 8 models. lol

sounds like the crazy prius lady is back!!!

haha, never saw a badge up close. but few would unless they went to the dealer. problem was lack of marketing
