as a salesman, the lineup REALLY needs an overhaul. Half of the GC “trims” could be reduced to an appearance package as they are already heavily based on actual existing models. Altitude, Limited X, and High Altitude in particular.

As for the Cherokee, this makes sense. no one buys the high end ones, ever. my old

Jeep hasn’t had a V8 in its flagship offroader since the introduction of the YJ, and it hasn’t hurt sales. In fact over time they have only gotten stronger.

Its ok the Bronco didn’t debut with a V8. I’ll still want one after the first year model gets the bugs worked out and I’m of the camp that the V8 is not going to be with us much longer.

It’s always worrisome when the Germans decide to do a purge.

Have a “shrinking” problem? Then talk to your doctor to see if Stellantis® is right for you.

Make hay while the sun shines. My income depends on home sales. I can work 10 hours a day every day right now if I wanted to. And I’m coming close to that, because unless the feds get off their ass and do their jobs of running the country, we’re in for a fucking dark and cold winter. Everyone around me is living like

The inventory at the dealership I work at won’t be back to where we were new car wise before the pandemic for at least 6 months. Used can be a better value anyway. Business has surprisingly held steady, but I’m waiting for the dropoff amid the fallout of people being hit hard financially from the virus.

So someone jumps in front of your vehicle to stop you with their bicycle and their body while someone else tries to break out your windows (which you can clearly see in the video) and you don’t think flooring it and getting out of there is a good idea? I’m sorry he hit someone, but it’s completely understandable.

1st Gear: Well, ya, they qualify for the PPP loans. That’s what the whole program was supposed to be for. I’m sure employees from other businesses that we don’t consider “mom and pop” got them too, like the machine shop down the street with 100,000 sq/ft building and 100 employees. Don’t hate, hate is sooooo 1800's.

1st Gear: I can’t decide if this is supposed to be a bad thing? I mean, we all like to shit on the “stealerships”, but when you realize that most of them have very few employees, many working on comission, sitting on millions in inventory they can’t sell and razor-thin margins - I feel like that’s exactly what these

One day, I will have to explain to my son what this thing is:

Just ran a the numbers on a $48k Grand Cherokee Limited (assuming that’s the trim you were looking at) and that number is totally reasonable. Depending on where you live, the dealer could have been making as little as $650 on that car. Considering the fact that many dealers are nearly wiped out (we’re down to our last

If a Jeep is around $48k then why are you surprised that it’s payment is so high? Aren’t E-trons around $80k out the door? Do you think dealerships own these things for free? Margins aren’t THAT great for most regular vehicles, with the exception being highly optioned big trucks/SUVS and luxury/high-end
