I don't see anything special with it. It doesn't support pdf or epub at the moment. Reader interface is sloppy. Dictionary function works in a browser, which makes it totally unusable.

I use notepad++ for plaintext note taking and sync it with live mesh. This application is kinda unnecessary.

@JuryDuty: KeePass isn't a viable alternative to Roboform. it can't login to sites automatically (at least properly).

@jeffk: AFIK, Adobe acrobat supports gpu acceleration while others don't. So we really have to see a benchmark to believe if they are really faster.

Adobe air applications are the only thing worse than java applications.

@ilves: You need protection from antivirus on any operation system. a virus is just another software.

I've been using it for the last month , it is light weight and unobtrusive .

@darkNiGHTS: actually it plays mkv files if you install a spliter .

@magog: binaural has been proved to be non effective many times. most of those claims are just mumbojumbo.

music is just another distraction. If the workplace is noisy , i just use the earplugs.

well, when tb3 is free, they are trying to charge for an email client based on tb2 . Good Luck with that.

the point of using a text file as a todo list is to keep it simple. i don't see the point of making it complicated with scripts. There are already todo applications for that .

pointless application really . by the time you download and install this software , you can clean the desktop yourself twice.

@proud_blackfoot: people will 50$ more and buy a netbook with a real OS. like they are doing right now. Then it can both run desktop applications and web applications . No point to limit yourself with these simple webapplications for 50$.

@okneil: without hq software, an OS doesn't mean anything. Google's strategy is to deliver web applications, they have no chance against microsoft.

@Merricat: it is not "one updater to check them all". it works only for google products. Other companies have their own updaters.
