I realized about two weeks ago that I’d never finished the series. Season 7 was a slog to get through, compared to other seasons and I was doing a lot of work and traveling during this short final season. I think my interest waned and eventually my DVR deleted the episodes.

Hmm, I never realized it was a themed ride. The rest of them are, so I guess that makes sense.

As “This is for Posterity” commented earlier, its a great movie, for what it is. I mean, it was pretty epic for the time. And I can’t help it, it’s still one of my favorites. I saw it as a kid, loved it, asked my mom for an ancient copy of the book and then got my 7th grade teacher to give me credit for 5 books after…

Wow, incredibly tough. My mom voted for Trump, because she didn’t like Hilary (she explained her reasoning to me last year and it still makes no sense) and we’ve mostly successfully avoided talking about it since the election. For the last couple of months we haven’t talked about anything other than her personal life…

I couldn’t even wrap my head around it. One of the many reasons it will never happen for me.

I hate the commercial when she says “Jim Beam Apple poured over ice with club soda to make a crisp Jim Beam Apple and soda.” Well, obviously that’s what it is if those are the only ingredients.

Not that it matters, but I’m glad the trend is losing steam, even just a little.
