It’s an amazingly deep and fun game. My 9 year old and 15 year old daughters are having a blast exploring. Even my 43 year old wife, who doesn’t play games at all, loves going around and collecting things, opening up the map, etc. The long and short is, it’s probably one of the best, biggest, most fun, and most

It was painful to watch.

People liked his overlong, self-indulgent speech? Yikes.

“I got this wrong, and I take responsibility for that.””

No, Mark, you are making 11,000 other people take responsibility for that. You are taking no responsibility.

I have a good PC. I have an Xbox. But I play controller because, frankly...

Two things. One:

Don’t even try to convince PC players. I’ve tried, and it’s like talking to a brick wall. “Just use mouse and keyboard” they’ll say. Controllers having aim assist and M+K not having it is the balanced thing to do. Having a PC to play in is besides the point. I don’t play with M+K because I don’t like it. I suck at it,

I really don’t mind the new artist, but I wish they’d rehire Senri Kita.

“New Switch hardware coming” is a hell of a way to word “there is a slightly differently colored Switch dock and controllers to tie in with the game”.

Yea I’m not seeing what exactly about the trailer is triggering people to mock....is the protagonist thinking over her situation too meta or something?

Game looks fun and I thought the trailer was fine in that it got me interested in the game. *shrugs*

It feels very early 10's indie. I thought it looked really weird for a MI game, but I wasn’t about to rage about it on the internet to strangers. The world it getting really boring lately.

I am a big Monkey Island fan too and I do not like the art style. However, this is my personal taste, no one needs to feel imposed upon and there is certainly no excuse for personal attacks.

Yeah but I would say that those aren’t “scores”. So defining one group as the value X and another group as value Y, doesn’t mean that X > Y or Y > X. They are just numbers being used to display the data. I can’t even imagine how these values could be used to count up to some ideal character, it makes more sense that

I guess I’m missing what’s so egregious here. It’s a tool that visualizes their characters’ features.

I agree with the basic sentiment, though I am reluctant to point the finger at a specific cause. but, consider this:

I see, this is why Ellie drops all her weapons before going for the kill!

You will play the game the way we tell you to play it damnit! And we’re going to make you feel terrible for the choices we force you to make!

I’d hope that the developer of one of the longest-running, most popular, and most profitable game series ever created pays well and has good benefits as a baseline (sounds like they offer some other great initiatives from the article). And I know as a parent of an infant that option is valuable even with the pay cut -
