Sinister is the only thing that's completely unnerved me too. It was so well done and the sound design was terrific that it took me a couple days to be over it. I texted my buddy who I had seen it with and he had a similar couple days (he too typically does fine with horror).
Definitely a misunderstood film. I watched it again recently, and it never fails to entertain. I know more than a few people didn't like it, but those that did "get" it, love it a lot.
This better come to Canada.
