One of the big problems with the current technology is not the fastballs, it’s the breaking pitches. Apparently human umps still call them at a much higher rate than the bots do. Until they figure that out, it won’t change.

I would have to double check the running lane violation rule but, as far as I know, every instance of interference the runners have to return the base occupied when the pitch was made.
