Holy crap make sure you check out some of the other cars up for auction. Spoon NSX? JUN Z32 Bonneville (which did 262mph!) Nissan R90CK LeMans prototype! Group IV Pantera with the widest rear tires I have ever seen ever! A R34GTR VspecII NUR with 10 miles on it!

I have no idea how big the tank was, but we would drive the 12.3 miles from our family cabin in the woods (where the Jeep lived) in to the grandparents house in Rapid City, SD. If you filled up at the closest gas station (about 1.5 miles from the cabin), drove to the grandparents house and back, you had to hit the gas

My grandpa had a 79 cherokee sport growing up, 2-door, with the 4-barrel 360 and the wide trac and the checkerboard graphics down the side. It was sold about 15 years ago, but I still miss it terribly. I honestly think it got less than 1mpg. You gotta go for it, man. Life is too short and miserable.

Stock market is up, so rich people buy rich people things. Its not hard to imagine some wealthy folks are finding themselves much wealthier this year. My S&P 500 composite fund is up 21% YTD. 21%!!! And that’s generally considered a safe investment. Tech composite funds are up over 40% in a lot of cases. If you were

My name is AudiOwnershipIsExpensive, and I have abused some cars.

Right? Mine has been in the family since 2005, and while it has needed a few things (tps went bad once causing a misfire) it has been dead reliable and all the repairs have been quick and easy. It is an absolute joy to drive as well.

All the Jalopnik staff have made trash suggestions. Not to say they aren’t great cars, but they aren’t good suggestions.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I do believe most Audis are rear-biased, with just the smaller Haldex-based drivetrains being front-biased (S1,A3, S3, Golf, etc.)

Literally how I cross the finish line in every racing game. Top shelf work. 10/10.

Congratulations on no longer having to daily drive a Yugo!

I read on here a good while back, a comment telling the story of someone running from the future driving police on his/her Yamaha R1. It was extremely well written. 10/10 would totally read again. So yeah, Break The Law 2037 would be my vote.

The president at a company I worked at right out of college had one of these. It was immaculate. Only came out on the nicest of spring/fall days (summer was too hot). This was ~8yrs ago, so it was a vintage bike even then. God it was awesome.

Audi makes plenty of parts for their older vehicles as part of the Audi Tradition program.

A chocolate frosty from Wendy’s.

Um, excuse me, is that non-vintage champagne? What is this, white collar resort prison?!

6. Cut wheel, floor it - Let other drivers know you are serious about winter driving by hooning your vehicle as much as possible. Hoonery is not only fun, it gives you an excellent feel for how your vehicle handles in adverse weather conditions. By being able to better control your vehicle, you make the road safer for

Yeeah! This was at Pow Mow in Utah last winter. They had closed for a few days due to too much snow (omg it was amazing) and this was left in the parking lot. Guy did not actually drive home like that.

Thanks for making me type “Powercruise 2017" into YouTube while I am still at work. Goodbye productivity!

Whats the threshold for “insane”??

That would have to be my 1989 Nissan 240sx hatchback. I bought it in 2001 or 2002. It has been through a number (3? 4? 5?!) engines over the years. I drove it all through high school and college. Then, my last year at school (I did 2 victory laps so I was there a long time) I broke a ring land coming home for fall
