I am invested in guns. I own them, use them and hunt with them. I probably own stock in them. I have as much of an issue investing in a gun maker as a do a tool manufacturer.

.22 caliber gun is one of the smallest calibers used for small game. Shooting rabbits, squirrels, etc is what I use the gun for. The rat was bigger than squirrel size. We aren’t talking a shotgun or a .30-06 here. Although a shotgun probably would have killed it instantly, it would have been messy.

I had to use a glue trap for a rat that got in my house last winter. Nothing worked except for the glue trap. The whole thing is it was a big one and pregnant. I know im wasting my time, but the guy’s analogy had to do with you only use one gun at a time and each gun is used for something different. You may hunt small game with a .22 but use a .30-06 for deer and a shotgun for birds. I can go on with various examples.

Youre missing the point. Rifles are tools. There isn’t one for just one purpose. A hunting gun? My post explains I use 5 guns for hunting alone. Of couse not all at once. Each one is for something different. Pistols for instance all have different calibers. My friend who like to target shoot owns a .38, .9mm and a 44.

Each gun does different things. Think of rifles and guns as tools (this is how I look at rifles and guns). Why would anyone need more than 1 hammer? well i have a ballpin, sledge, mini sledge, claw hammer, brick hammer, framing hammer. etc.

You’re implying im not going to purchase another one. I plan on this year to get my handgun license and buy a handgun after a run in with a pack of coyotes in the woods. Im only 30. I figure I have a few more to purchase. I’m also planning on getting a shotgun/22 combo which would be awesome for rabbit hunting.
