@chrisaroz: well... erm... you'll need a static ip, with Orb you don't.

does it work via a Wii? or Xbox? or (insert potential extender box here)
@Stefan Graf: tiny urls are for people who need to fit long urls into small spaces to post them (like Twitter). imo Twitter (Twhirl, Tweetdeck) should have automatic URL expaning once posted, if only for security reasons.
@beala: lol! yeah but it happens on Facebook, phpBB, etc etc . Actually, I used a mix of the new settings and the default settings and it looks pretty sweet now.
any idea what the settings were originally so I can change them back? Yahoo looks all hideous
@eagles3: yeah, windows fonts are great. Make sure you've got Cleartype turned on, and fixed to your liking via the cleartype tuner widget.
same reason I'm not a big fan of Safari on Windows - the fonts look all blurry and blotchy. Cleartype is far more crisp and superior, at least on the Windows platform (notice iTunes doesn't use blurrymac - thank god)
@direwolf: agreed. it's more about training yourself to resist the temptations of this 24/7 connected world. Focus. Print it out A3 and pin it above your monitor ;)
@ThomasAgron: I tried it, didn't like it, for the following reasons:
@Scoops: yeah, but it crashes my Rocketdock (can't figure out why)
@David Yang: just delete the folder from Program Files
does what it says on the tin, but it's much slower than Rocketdock. Laggy. Maybe it's my old machine. The stacks are nice though.
@Miranda: they're default W7 wallpapers, made for bland office environments. You want anything better, DIY (partial to hitting Flickr myself, for personal use only)
the most obvious things are overlooked by mere mortals, it takes a superior mind to see them. Genius, and works great.
@blue: just right-click cop&paste the symbol from that wiki page ;)
@justrick: both seem faster after this. A lot faster on my XP machine, a bit faster on my Vista.
@Ian Moffitt: hmm ok, plan B. I'll get back to you
@Ian Moffitt: it does show "currently playing" from the moment you start playing it - I know, because it shows up in Facebook via feed. It doesn't get "scrobbled" (ie added to your stats) until 50% though.
why not just pull the information from LastFM instead? Or rather, the LastFM player must cache the "currently playing" track somewhere, so just grab that and display? Or get it to grab your LastFM rss feed and just display the most recent entry (the currently playing track).
