@Michael Morrison: Yup me too, and I didn't like it when they joined LastFM and the nice small scrobbler plugin turned into this whopping LastFM thing that sucks MORE resources when I launch iTunes.
@rickatnight11: doesn't Yahoo/MSN/etcetcetc do that already?
depends on what kind of email it is. Site signups, personal emails etc I archive. Mailing list stuff, "check out this video" stuff goes straight in the bin after I've read it.
@kazemizuhi: I'm a fan of the Picasa screensaver. Lots of options, picasa, folder, feed, good display options. Try it out.
@jupiterthunder: wifi is necessary for these mods imo. There are screensavers that pull photos of network/internet, so no problem. I use (the broken) laptop I have to watch movies via wifi.
I just happen to have an old Vaio (with a broken keyboard), so I'd love to try something like this. (actually, I was looking to take the guts out and put it into a VCR or similar case, as a media server, but this will do - less dismantling)
all a bit.. erm.. Apple, but it's very nice to see Ubuntu paying attention to the look of the thing (which is offputting unless you're prepared to put the time in to DIY).
@mdmadph: Skynet can't be stopped. Only a couple more million machines before it becomes self-aware.
@GA TechWriter: it's called a window?
I would be better if, on your death, it deleted your Facebook, Twitter account, Flickr Account, etc etc. Of course, if someone hacked it and flicked the "death switch", you'd be screwed.
@Al Iguana: oh, promising:
Since this is written in Mono, how about a Windows version (oh, the sacrilage!). Pleeeease?
@ZillionDollarSadist: for "a few friends" read "a couple of girls". One sofa, plenty of cuddling action
@snakepliskin: split everything 50/50. Including the projector. Could get messy...
@Julius Seizure. Jim to my Peeps: wait for the 3G shoulder version though, the 2G knee version was full of bugs and needed to be jailbroken :p
@Matthew Urso: no, next Apple will cut out the box altogether, and have everything built-in to the earbuds. Like those mp3 playing shades you can buy.
integrated controls on media player = bad idea. I won't buy one.
@marksman7328: ah yeah, you're right, it is slightly faster. Good to see
@phoomp: Photoshop runs fantastic on Vista. What version are you running?
