This was a great race to watch. (Two in a row as Silverstone was as well)

Peter’s articles are one of my favorite things on Jalopnik as I am a shadetree mechanic taught by my father (Who was a 35-year diesel mechanic and basically ran an auto shop out of the driveway). My dad would get cars in for a brake-job or tune-up and quite often, he would fix a-lot of these ‘little things’ while the…
Nice work! Its amazing what a good amount of cleaning and fixing the ‘little things’ can do to a vehicles value.
Yeah, Kimi had a hell of a race. And post-race was even more delightful to watch. While Lewis went full crybaby Diva. Kimi handled his interview with class, owned up to his mistake and took the blame for the collision, said his penalty was fair, and apologized for it.
I really don’t know how I live in a world where ‘Wagon’ is a bad word, yet ‘Crossover’ is totally acceptable and even desired.
Same to you. Thanks for writing this story.
Yeah, I totally understand what you’re saying. I know that this is something that is going to be an issue for the rest of my life. I’m looking at an extra via of blood every six months and probably regular ultrasounds. I’m also getting a consult with my father’s endocrinologist next month. All my father’s side has…
Wow.....this hits home.
I know, right? I think Mazda’s error was that they tried to limit the oil consumption to the point to where someone would not need to add oil between 3k mile change intervals. To people who don’t know that rotary engines NEED to consume oil, having your oil light come on every few thousand miles, they probably thought…
I own a Mazda RX8.
Probably my favorite Doves song. And a very underappreciated band IMO. Nobody I know (and I know quite a variety of types of people) ever knows them when I mention them except the occasional one who knows ‘Kingdom of Rust’ from Zombieland. Nice choice!
The look on Patrick George’s face knowing his Camaro crash has been knocked down a notch on the list of worst GM street car crashes at Belle Isle:
Well considering that I have sexually fantasized about having sex with Grimace (years before Family Guy did it), it’s not much of a jump to say that I’d bone the PhillyFanatic
As someone who has been chased and harassed by geese on multiple occasions (I deserved it only one time as I was the instigator, but it’s like they all know about it!), I got not only a laugh, but an incredible feeling of satisfaction as well.
I know of a situation where the slide of an H&K P2000 ended up lodged in the radiator of an old-lady’s car. It turns out it belonged to an officer who had left it on the roof of his truck heading home from work. Whoops.
VNV Nation is something I would have never guessed that I would see mentioned here. But I am pleasantly surprised. I’ve been listening to VNV since the late 90's. And this is made even better with the orchestra music.
