Agreed. I love following Dave’s crazy adventures and it was great that he dragged Collins into this one as well.

To be that close has to be incredibly frustrating........ Those mountains can surely stress various fluids to the limit.
I just drove my ‘04 RX-8 for the first time in a few months a couple days ago and it was wonderful being back in it. And it’s not like my other car is a boring car either, it’s a ‘16 STI. But to me, my RX-8 outshines it in driving dynamics by far. More crisp handling, a much better shifter, and I like the exhaust note…
I flat out love reading about and researching tires.
Dont forget it came with an optional Italian made 2.8l diesel. That’s kind of interesting.
Ford Taunus V4 was my guess.
Given that vague post, this is almost certainly the answer.
Lol, that’s kinda funny. But hey, we all love what we love. My RX8 stays in the garage and my ‘16 STI gets the wife and kids for daily duties. The 3" COBB Turboback is a bit loud though. Sound deadening is definitely on my mod list.
I dd’d my Rx8 with my family of 4 (in nice weather) for a couple years. Although my wife had a Mazda-5 that we used more frequently, especially for long trips.
You have to remember, there are a lot of mentally-ill people out there....
No, headrest speakers were only in 84-85 models (I think). They migrated up into the B-pillars (4"x6") after that.
No, it’s not stock. The stock one is lightbulb-shaped. Good catch. But, that is the stock height, lol.
I’ve owned 3 Fieros and my 3800-Turbo Fiero has been featured on Jalopnik. A t-top 1988 Fiero Formula with a manual transmission is one of the rarest, most sought after configuration of Fieros (Although this color is one of the more common ones. Yellow and Silver are the most rare).
Wow, that is something I would love to drive..... (Not that I ever will.)
