It much be nice to collect fancy, rare cars in same manner I collect hot-wheels (put away somewhere, never used, and only brought out to show other people so they can be jealous, or in my case, feel bad for me)
I’ve been in love with rotaries since I was a kid. I tried to find an FC for my first ‘sports’ car but was unable to find a decent example in my price range and ended up with a Fiero. I then sold that Fiero to buy my RX-8. I’ve been driving it and loving it ever since. Driving a rotary is just such a different, and…
Woo-hoo! I had the honor of starring this comment for the 69th time!
MMmmm...... That is something I would love to see parked in my driveway next to my other Mazda-rotary.
I keep wanting to buy a Mazda-6 (A 6spd manual touring model), but the lack of power has really held me back from pulling the trigger. If this is true and I can get it with a manual, and maybe, just maybe (Pretty please Mazda) a limited-slip differential, I’d be in and would probably be willing to pay 5k over the…
#8 needs to pick up the jockstrap that he just got faked out of. Ouch.
My definition of ‘boring’ differs from yours.
I’m just going to mount a bunch of guns to my dune buggy all Mad Max-style. Then they’ll be in a real dilemma.
In this instance, there was an armed citizen nearby that opened fire on the shooter stopping his massacre as he fled soon after. I know this because every hardcore gun-rights person I know has splattered this report all over their social media. All you’re going to hear from that particular type of person is how more…
I had a ‘16 STI for about a year. I liked it a lot, but the wing just attracted so many douchnozzles and I didn’t like my high payment. I traded it on a Police Package Ford Explorer (yeah, I know, quite a bit of a change).
The only viable way I could ever see a rotary being brought back into a production vehicle would be in some type of a hybrid-type of system so this isn’t very surprising to hear. I will certainly be tuned into Mazda’s upcoming releases.
This isn’t my first police vehicle. I used to buy, refresh and then sell Crown Vic’s, Chargers, and Tahoe’s that I bought at auction when I lived in MI. It was something I learned from my dad as he did the same thing when I was a kid.
I think that’s is how mine started. The noise kept getting gradually worse until it sounded like there was ground up stone inside the rack whenever you turned the wheel at low speed. It got to the point where the wheel wouldn’t return to center without my assist. It was always the worst at low speeds where the assist…
I wasn’t. It is my personally owned vehicle.
I drive a 33k mile Ford Police Interceptor Utility and got a letter in the mail earlier this week about this and also about inspecting the electric power steering.
