I'm gonna have to take your word for it since I've never used a physical remote extensively. Again, I'm not against the project. Heck, one of my best projects out there is an XBMC Remote on Windows Phone. However, I'm not satisfied with my own creation.

Can anyone tell me how the book holds up to different economies? Because, most of the financial advice which applies to US doesn't even come close to what we have here. Credit card rules are way different. Phones are sold unlocked by default. Funniest part is when the earning is few times smaller than saving

As much as I love the concept (especially the part where IR sensor reads the button codes) it's kinda annoying to use touchscreens for remote controls. I don't want to look at the remote while watching something on TV. The tactile feedback of physical just makes it so much easier. Also, phone's screen has a time out

A few genuine questions:

But BitTorrent had bigger installation the uTorrent the last time I checked.

What's wrong with uTorrent (and BitTorrent too, I assume)? Also, once and for all, it would be great if someone explained the difference between u and bit. They look, behave, annoy exactly the same except for the color!

I might have misunderstood then! You don't actually want Google apps. You just want the scams to go away and let you use your browser peacefully?

Thanks, but actually it's the same!

I'm in no way supporting their actions. (Sorry for not making that clear.) I love Microsoft. I also like Apple and Google. Or, I'd say I dislike them all equally. There's no reason for me to have to choose one. And I absolutely hate the so called Microsoft Store policies these days. The real policies are all good when

These days, I like to define Windows fanboy is the one who doesn't blindly hate 'Micro$oft' because it's cool to do so!

Hey Whitson! Did I miss another post from Kinija? What's with the commenting system? Even the old star holding readers have comments with 'Pending Approval' badge!

Actually, it's little complicated. It's a paid app which will teach you how to download VLC for free. Makes sense?

Google's apps don't exist (and probably won't) mostly because Google is being a jerk to Microsoft.

Developer here. Actually, there IS an extensive app approval policy in place. Heck, they even used to follow it when the Store just opened. Now a days, they just ignore it. Like the article says, they want numbers. Because people care about numbers.

Microsoft fanboy here. And no, I absolutely don't support this non-sense Microsoft has been pulling off.

Or, you can just put a Pacman there. This is actually from a friend.

Wouldn't a Windows Phone app do? I have a bunch of them. Even an Android one. But when I code, it's bunch of tabs for research messy looking screens and ugly Android emulators!

If that works for you, by all means! But some of the things some people just require Windows.

As much as I am inclined to suggest you Air, you should really think about Windows Machine. In theory, though you can install Windows on Air, support lags behind. When Windows 8 came out, it took them (Apple) a while to support it fully.

MBA is a pretty obvious choice and hence, should be excluded! I mean, it is the best hardware out there in the category. Let's keep it out of discussion.
