Totally with you here! I personally came across only one such laptop and it was from some Italian manufacturer (heck, it even had different keyboard layout!). So, yeah, as long as you're with some mainstream manufacturer (which covers most of us) you're pretty safe. I was just stating the special cases!

I'm all in for folder organization. But you do realize that you can have organized folders on multiple drives and network shares and still use the libraries, right? Take it this way: people who want to organize are going to do so, and people who don't, won't! Libraries make no difference.

Some of the LEDs aren't hardwired. They just glow because the firmware makes them glow. Though highly unlikely, hacker could, in theory, patch the firmware to make LED not glow. With that said, I live in a dorm room and look like a live skeleton - I don't care!
