Whoa! I didn't know - always used nano for simple config files and vim for anything else. I just thought it was a text editor. That's definitely weird!

Is it just me or Evernote is getting weirder day by day? I mean, it was a not taking app. Then they went on adding more and more features and I don't know what it is anymore. Maybe, had is used as it evolved, I would have understood all those features instead of getting confused. I just started using it heavily after

Totally with you here! I personally came across only one such laptop and it was from some Italian manufacturer (heck, it even had different keyboard layout!). So, yeah, as long as you're with some mainstream manufacturer (which covers most of us) you're pretty safe. I was just stating the special cases!

I'm all in for folder organization. But you do realize that you can have organized folders on multiple drives and network shares and still use the libraries, right? Take it this way: people who want to organize are going to do so, and people who don't, won't! Libraries make no difference.

Some of the LEDs aren't hardwired. They just glow because the firmware makes them glow. Though highly unlikely, hacker could, in theory, patch the firmware to make LED not glow. With that said, I live in a dorm room and look like a live skeleton - I don't care!

Wow! What're you gonna do with it! Lifehacker is getting giveaways?

I think Tasker works for everything?

That's awesome moment when the blog's chief editor's comment is 'pending review'!

More like headbang! That was most hilarious thing in my day!

Hmm... I realized that after I signed up and saw the ability to invite. I prefer signing up to such services using single sign on. One less password to manage!

Did anyone notice that it wants our contacts along with the basic information when signing up with Google? Why does it want my contacts? What happens if I use Facebook to sign up? Selling data?

Are we talking about the same Muse who got Butterflies and Hurricanes?

I mean no offense but a line saying that this is valid only in USA would be helpful. I am stranded here on very slow connection. I went through all of this just to find out that it is not going to work form me!

I might be a bit late to this discussion, but has nobody nobody here heard of the room coolers? The big boxes, we fill with water and the fan throws cool air using that water? It's kind of hard to explain if you haven't ever seen one. Here is one picture

And you think that Any.Do wouldn't be shut down? <Evil Laughter>

I always make sure that the support mails work. Feedback is always welcome!

You have Surface RT! Could you do me a favor? The Windows Store certification says that my app crashes on RT devices. No RT is launched here in India - I can't really test anything. Would you take a look at it and report? Here it is: http://zakshay.in/XLuv8y

Hmm... I just went to Apple's site for India and the lowest priced model with 512 MB dedicated graphics costs about 1,23,000. For 1,50,000 I get 1 GB graphics memory and retina display. Now I take a look at Inspiron 15z touch. For 68,000 it gives me 2 GB dedicated graphics with same i7 (and Intel HD 4000). Though, I

I do not want to sound idiotic but I am pleasantly surprised that you guys are graphic designers and still use Windows. I, somehow, always get a feeling that the software (CS6) runs slower on my friends' MacBooks. Moreover, I never understood relation between being a graphics person and using Mac. I mean, graphics

I agree with you for the most part. But then again, I have a friend who bought laptop without operating system. She just installed Fedora on it and used it for year. Only Fedora, nothing else. And it was her first Linux experience! I don't know how she managed it as we weren't friends back then. In fact I asked her
