I’ve spent a lot of my life as a cyclist. I used to head off on cycling holidays.

If they ride on public roads, they have to follow the same rule as a vehicle.

The issue I have with some cyclist isn’t that their breaking of the rules of the road is a travesty while cars drivers breaking the rules are ok.  It’s that when cyclists break the rules they are expecting the person in the 4000 lb vehicle to react and stop faster than they can and putting the responsibility of safety…

To be fair also, even in the story in the article- why are you pulling up alongside of someone unless there are two lanes? If you’re turning right perhaps it’s acceptable, but if you’re going straight through you’ll do better just to wait in line like everyone else and avoid that whole getting passed in your lane…

Exactly!  I have not seen a single cyclist who followed the rules of the road.  NOT a single one!  Everyone blows right through red lights and stop signs, and turn left on red when there is no car coming.

I go out of my way when I cycle to obey all the rules. Shit like this drives me nuts because it gives everyone a bad name.  I honked at a couple cyclists for running a redlight once, and they looked at me like I had three heads.  I know it sucks to downshift through 10 gears only to start over, but plan your route…

Every encounter I’ve heard of with Keanu has been at worst pleasant. It’s always about Keanu giving up his seat on the subway, treating homeless people like humans, being generous to film crews, etc.  The guy is a ray of sunshine.

Yeah, front plates are a non-problem IMO. The fact that people here in the US care about them just means that enforcement has been lax enough that people have been getting away with not mounting them.

Agreed. When I got a new car, I bought stainless screws and sunk them right into my bumper without even flinching. This is not the hill I am prepared to die on.

Autocar has the first drag race of the McLaren and the 911 on a very narrow road. Far narrower than I'd expect. On paper these cars are pretty evenly matched. Both have tons of power (560 for the Porsche, 616 for the Macca) and dual clutch gearboxes, but the 911 is all wheel drive.
