Exactly. The original trilogy had 3 different directors, but Lucas produced all 3 of them. Lucasfilm should have kept Abrams on as a hands-on producer for The Last Jedi so he could keep a decent through line with what he’d already set up.

No, Poe was right in EVERY DAMN INSTANCE. The movie conflicts its messages CONSTANTLY like this.

RJ and the mask is one of the most TELLING bits of control-freakish/I’m not a team player things he did in TLJ. The set footage shows that not only did he destroy a mask in-story that the TFA team took SIX MONTHS to design and craft (a factor that the costume designer lead found unsettling), but RJ PHYSICALLY took it…

Agreed, WW was OK at best. Good actors, bland writing. (Which pretty much sums up DC as a whole.) I have to assume the fans that thought it was so great was looking through DC colored glasses.

Same here. I know most people loved Wonder Woman, but I really thought that was a bland movie. Gal did a great job, but the movie itself didn’t feel like anything new.
