I was hopping they would do something more with Gary. I hate characters that are perpetually under the writer’s thumb.

“Only half of them are killed though”
Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves is actually pretty good.
Bandwagon.
As long as you don’t call it amazing.
Don’t worry he gets a new one in Wakanda.
odd that Trainspotting was left out.
I know I much prefer his brother Rare.
They could just have scenes were his likeness are in the background. Like a picture in a newspaper, a portrait in some office, a billboard selling soda etc.
Didn’t they say Kong was still growing? Assuming this film takes place decades later he could be much bigger.
Most of the Jedi heroes and villains of prominence in the movies have not been nobles. They were slaves, farm boys, junk haulers. Even in the prequels the Jedi went out to find kids that had the gift. They didn’t glean them form nobility.
That would be hilarious, because you know it would tear the Star Wars fans even further apart.
I wrote earlier that I think their will be two factions of students. The Knights of Ren and some other students that survived. I would be all for that as the ONE thing I wanted in all these Star Wars movies was to see real Jedi battles with multiple fighters. Why is it always just a handful. Even in the prequels it…
I don’t think there will be a true conclusion, Just a conclusion to the Rey Kylo story line. It is not like they can win the war in one film after they were pretty much decimated in the second. UNLESS there is a time jump?
Ohhhh like from the Last Airbender and have his powers taken? THAT wold be interesting.
That is why you fail.
Abrams will probably do a lot of “walking back” ideas from the previous films. I would put money on his planting the seeds of a secret Jedi order that Luke has been training or perhaps some of the former students that did not die and went off to train some more. The whole let the past die thing is definitely NOT a JJ…
That is not dead which can eternal lie. And with strange aeons even death may die.
I was Fine with Finn’s arch (not the subplot at planet Las Vegas). He is trying desperately to have a life that is not dominated by service. He escaped that world and wants a normal life. What keeps him involved is his own sense of morality and his friendship with the other characters. If anything he has the best…
There is also the idea that the monster, or bad guy can somehow jam the phone signal (which if done right at least makes sense).
