The ending did what few shows have done for me. It succeeded in retroactively ruining much of what came before it and I will likely never pick up the remaining books, assuming they are ever finished.

Makes me think it isn’t selling what they were expecting or reviews aren’t what they expected. Funny considering I don’t know anyone who wanted a sequel to this game, but I think the best days of Bethesda may be behind them after this and Fallout 76. How they thought they’d not get flak from the community for bundling

To be fair, I loved the ending of Lost. But the final season, the man in black (smoke monster) vs Jacob, their history, the island, etc. It all felt so out of left field and most of the questions weren’t answered. The final season sucked, but the finale was excellent. The moment when we see Jack dying while laying on

And I wouldn’t have minded that, but show his reaction to it. We also needed to show the reaction of the characters as they learned of Jon’s heritage. Show that he’s doing something, anything. He’s the most worthless character of this entire show.

The hints have been there, but this ending is contrived and is the easiest ending they could’ve taken. This feels like the ending that GRRM decided on because he got bored of this world.

Prophecies are tropes and what better way to make them appear initially tropey they twist than to not fulfill the trope?

I don’t agree with you. Let’s look at Dany for a moment and I can explain why. Dany in season 1 was someone who was basically just following the path laid out before her. The misfortune she experienced and the birth of the dragons ingratiated us to her as it seemed like her luck was finally turning around.

With only 2 episodes left, the writing is taking the path of least resistance as far as the ending is concerned and I personally think GRRM is to blame. GRRM not being done with a story that he’s spent this long on tells me that he’s probably lost interest, despite having the ending of the entire saga spelled out for

Also, whats an army that only knows how to conquer going to do in peacetimes? It’s a messy situation that had to be taken care of.

One of the few who I think ‘gets it’. George RR Martin even said that the night king should be looked at more like a force of nature than an actual villain and while I’d hoped the Night King went to King’s Landing instead and razed the place, in the back of my head, I knew the Night King was not made to be the major

Mostly due to the number of writes actually. Consoles are a great place to get a good bang for your buck with ssd though since reads are the vast majority of what you do with a drive in a console. I think they could easily last 10-12 years provided they support standard tech like trim.

For me, this episode was more than just moving the pieces into place. This episode finally asked the questions regarding Dany that needed to be asked for most of this show. Sam being the one to say it is exactly who needed to say it as well. Just a pity it took this long to bring them together for this moment.

Launch box isn't bad. I've had it a out a year. To make it worth it though, you have to pay for big box, which is its main attraction.

Kotaku is milking this, but in their previous article, I pointed out a few in a post. Long story short, PC’s are going the way of TV. When Netflix became a thing, cord cutting was only just getting popular, but I was an early adopter of that and I liked having a one stop shop for everything. Now i have 6+ different

Do they give me 18% more game or make their game 18% cheaper? Do they split the difference? Nope. This is pure profit and nothing else. If this was an indie game, yeah sure, but this is from one of the most successful devs. None of that is gonna feed back to the consumer.

It’s the splintering of the gaming population that bugs me most. I was an early adopter of cord cutting because Netflix had 99% of what I wanted to watch and I could download what I wanted for HBO. It was cheap and I could find anything I want in one place.

Sounds like a great solution for an Atraxa commander deck. Adding a type of a counter already present coupled with doubling season sounds like a really good way to make some otherwise bad planeswalker cards into serious contenders. Time will tell once all the spoils are out.

Mostly a Commander/EDH player myself, though I have a handful of decent legacy decks and one good modern deck. Only a few of them have Planeswalkers in them. I rarely find Planeswalkers to be game changers unless your deck is built around a combo ala Teferi and getting off those in even a non-singleton format is

Great read man. It’s so rare to get this kind of writeup from someone who has experienced it that it scares me a little less just knowing the kind of things any one of us could be in for.

I understand there are cultural differences in Japan about avoiding making a scene, but I don’t understand how a society puts it on a victim that they must apologize to society. Why isn't it the suspect who must apologize?
