i’d like to see what your total bill comes out to because i’m having a really hard time believing that i can get a kei car from japan for a $2000 fee.  amazing if that’s the case but sounds too good to be true (aka bullshit).

Would Volvoland be a prepay country, where the gauge indicates the volume and units to process, before turning the pump on? Kinda like the old-school pump where you filled the glass buffer and then dropped it into the tank. The prepay was a short-term thing where I live, until the pumps had card readers.

There’s a relatively small group of people willing to pay 90K for a new Toyota, and they’re smart, keep their vehicles for a long time, don’t like flashy crap (no Range Rovers), want a die hard reliable rig for their family (again, Range Rovers are out), and 90K on a family daily driver is nothing to them.

This is expected, and fine and I wouldn’t hesitate to fly in one. I mean, how many people out there are still driving around with takata airbags? In all likelihood, this will be the safest jet in the air for a few years because of the added scrutiny.

I’ve seen them do this with very old cars with very old seals, they don’t want to risk water going into those areas. They have to buff the paint anyways, so a few minor scratches with this type of wash isn’t really an issue.
