It’s been tough, but we’ve been working on trying to avoid buying stuff from Amazon whenever possible. Vitacost, Costco, Newegg, and Target are our go-tos. Sometimes we need some obscure thing and Amazon’s the only real option, but we feel a lot better about spreading our money around rather than just defaulting to…
You know, the crazy thing about the PPP is that these idiots spent the money before getting full forgiveness. Fraudulently document your PPP expenses, get 100% forgiveness from the bank and then you just risk the .01% chance that you would get audited.
Wuss. I’ve been driving manuals in L.A. traffic for 20 years. It’s fun and gives me something to do.
I drove manuals in hours long traffic on the 405 in LA. It’s shitty, but it’s shitty in anything. It wasn’t enough to make me want to quit the clutch.

As goes David Tracy, so goes Hertz rental service?
His house, then use the proceeds to buy a place without an HOA?
And a modern bike will require +$800 to purchase.
seriously $200 is cheap for a decent bike
It’s more fun to some people, including me. Wheeling doesn’t need to be about optimization or ease-of-use. It’s an inherently illogical hobby, after all!
yes! more to come!
I was going to be a snarky idiot and say “How much have you spent so far? And shouldn’t you have just purchased a new bike?” and then I realized everyone could say this about any car that I buy and then break as I try to fix things...
I would go in on the $13 bearings... if the cup/races that they ride on weren’t also borked. Maybe I could get someone with a lathe to make me some new ones? I am unsure.
