GM making bad decisions?  You don’t say!

He emailed me immediately after our call. The guy seems great!

Zippo fuel is naptha+special zippo perfume. Naptha has an effective octane rating of about 70, which requires a compression ratio of 5:1 or lower to prevent knock. At 8 or 10:1, that’d be bad. It may not be that bad on a direct injection engine, provided the ECU can delay the injection to ATDC.

I don’t think people like going to dealerships. But they do like shopping. And I agree with them. Being able to look at, touch, and drive the car (or cars) you’re shopping for is pretty important, as long as you’re not the kind of person who just “buys the gray Camry”.

The rest of the experience, the dealership part,

THIS 100%

Really you need a showroom, not a dealership.  Sales can still be done online in conjunction with showrooms and/or dealerships.  Some people like to find the exact one and buy in person, other people want a basic idea then order their specific one online.  There is room for both

Just be smart about it.

Counterpoint: I will never buy a vehicle I have neither sat in nor driven. And, to do those things, you have to go to a dealership.

Not bad or not that bad?

That is a good point. It does clearly show an independent setup.

KDSS would be cool, and I bet that’s what it will be.

The icon on the button suggest that the sway disconnect is on the front axle as it clearly shows an IFS setup. I wonder if it’s more than a disconnect. i.e. active sway control like KDSS but with active control. That would be more beneficial than a straight disconnect.

This guy just doesn’t understand FASHION

“detract from the design.”

Weird, the way those gantries are constructed I always assumed they just bolted them together onsite, erector-set style. It never occurred to me that the whole truss would have to be driven there in pre-assembled form, that’s nuts.

Mice are a fact of life here in the wilds of WY. Upon the significant temperature changes of spring and fall, mice look for warmer places to live. Prior to our purchase 17 years ago, the house had been vacant for several years. A few days after moving in and while watching TV I noticed mice using the rock wall behind

My family’s been using them since the 90’s, and the best answer is: kinda?

As I understand it, most rodents don’t like muddy areas (except for muskrats), so David Tracy’s strategy of keeping his cars in a mudpit makes a lot more sense now.

UK car prices include 20% VAT. That means you can’t just covert the UK price from pounds to dollars. In general the UK price in pounds tends to equal the US MSRP in dollars when everything is said and done.

It’s janky.

This is giving me anxiety:
