I mean, the scoring system isn’t a mystery to be solved. You know how much something is worth at its max, and you decide to skate a seamless, yet less valuable program, after talking shit? You get what you earn. Want more? Earn more.

I don’t think the strategy is the worst. Raise general population interest in a genre with a movie (that wasn’t amazing, but was kinda cool and interesting) that has big recognizable names relevant to the genre, and then lure viewers into a very cool series.
