Did they improve phone screen casting? When I try casting my screen on the 1st or 2nd generation Chromecast it is never smooth, and always pauses for long moments. I have a 802.11n network with an Essential phone. WiFi router less than 15 feet away.

I never knew GV used cellular as the medium to make calls. How does it do that?? Does it create a digital sim? But it’s using the carrier’s towers!
